The range below are prepared in traditional 1/2lb or 1lb loaf tins.
Also available in a 2lb loaf tin version for catering (approx 8 portions).
All our loafs have a 10 and 14 day shelf life and all are suitable for freezing.
Apple and Sultana
This is a moist loaf cake made with a mixture of flours, butter and mixed spices.
Farmhouse Fruit
A good classic fruitcake including peel and cherries but no spices. It is made with mixed flours and it is oil based containing no butter but does contain milk.
Banana Loaf
A wholemeal loaf cake combining fresh bananas and a hint of vanilla, topped with a glace icing and dried banana flakes.
Ginger
This cake is made with black treacle, ginger, and cinnamon and also contains stem ginger.
Carrot Cake
A dairy free cake, oil based and made with wholemeal flour, walnuts and cinnamon.
The catering size can be supplied with the traditional cream cheese topping
Honey & Fig
A lovely moist sponge containing chopped figs, yoghurt and butter and drizzled with honey.
Cherry and Almond
This is a traditional cake made with ground almonds and glace cherries and topped with flaked almonds.
Lemon Drizzle
This cake is a good classic tangy lemon sponge made with butter, freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar is poured over the cake to give a crunchy top.
Cider
This cake is dairy free. There is no butter or oil used in the preparation of this cake. It is made with wholemeal flour, Perry’s Cider, apples, mixed fruit and peel. Ideal when spread with butter.
Orange Chocolate Chip
This orange sponge is made with butter and contains lots of chocolate chips. It is then topped with an orange icing, made with the juice of fresh oranges, and decorated with chocolate sugar strands and orange jelly segments.
Date and Walnut
An old favourite made with wholemeal flour and packed with dates and walnuts.
Orange Drizzle
A variation on the classic Lemon Drizzle cake above this time using fresh oranges.
Double Chocolate
Specially designed for the chocoholics this chocolate cake contains ground almonds and has added chocolate chips for that extra bit of decadence.
Parsnip and Coconut
A dairy free, oil based cake similar to the carrot cake made with wholemeal flour, fresh parsnips and desiccated coconut.
